My high school daughter suffered a sports Injury during a school competition. There was alot of anxiety and nervousness that affected her wanting to move forward. I heard about what Helen was doing and I asked her if we could have a session to try it out. Sometimes teenagers dont want to talk about feelings so I was a bit hesitant. The second Helen walked through my door her radiant smile and personality made my daughter light up and feel so calm. She took to Helen immediately and opened up about her feelings not only with sports but with normal, everyday things that teenagers are dealing with; stress, anxiety, confidence, acceptance. We met a few times and I then noticed my daughter dealing with anxiety and stress better. She looked forward to their meetings because it wasn’t the stereotypical “therapy”.
